Product Description

These compact Atmel programmers are based upon the USBasp open source design and connect directly to your computer’s USB port. The programmer’s design uses an ATMEGA8A micro controller and implements a virtual USB client using the open source V-USB package. The unit can power your target system device (3V or 5V selectable via jumper link) through the 10-way programming header.

The units have been loaded with the latest USBASP firmware which supports the new TPI programming protocol used in devices such as ATTINY4/5/9 & 10.

These modules also make excellent low-cost development boards. The 10-way programming header has 6 I/O lines including Asynchronous Serial RXD/TXD and the Synchronous Serial MOSI/MISO/SCK ports.

The programmer is supplied with a short 10-way ribbon/IDC cable.

Recommended software to use is AVRDude (available for Windows & Linux).

LED Indicators: Power (Red or Green), Programming (Red or Green).
Connection: 1x 10-way IDC socket, 1x USB.
IDC Cable Length: 15-30cm.
