Product Description

This simple LCD module is based upon the PCF8574T 8-Bit I/O expander chip made by Philips. These units provide addressable I²C Serial communications and are designed to interface with a standard 14/16 pin single-in-line LCD port. 3 PCB links are provided to allow up to 8 addresses. The module comes with an on board LCD contrast potentiometer, and a transistor driver for LED back light control.
