All sales are subject to the following trading terms – these terms and conditions do not affect the consumers’ statutory rights.
We reserve the right to reject any order for whatever reason and no order will be considered binding until it is accepted by us. All prices quoted are in £ sterling. Goods will not be shipped until payment has been made in full. Payments made by cheque are subject to clearance.
Delivery prices are quoted for UK mainland addresses only – certain areas of the Highlands, Northern Scotland and offshore islands may attract a surcharge – See Delivery Information. If our estimated delivery date cannot be met for whatever reason, we will try to keep you informed of any delays and when you can expect delivery. Whilst we make every effort to keep to stated delivery dates, we cannot be held liable for any losses or costs incurred as a result of a failure to meet these dates.
It is the responsibility of the customer to check the product’s compatibility or suitability prior to ordering. You must inform us of any shortages or damage to your delivery within 7 days of delivery. Provided that this notice is given, we will replace, repair or refund the goods free of charge.
All goods are subject to availability, but if they are no longer available we will try to offer an alternative product or a refund.
All goods are from OEM and will be supplied in non-retail packaging unless otherwise stated.
Although we have made every effort to provide accurate descriptions and specifications for all products, we cannot guarantee that all information is error-free. We also do our best to provide accurate product photographs, but slight variations may exist to the actual products supplied.
Presently ‘Electronic Things’ is not registered for VAT, and thus we are unable to supply VAT invoices.
Consumer Contract Regulations
Under The Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel a contract within fourteen days – starting from the day after you take delivery of the goods (a “cooling off” period). You have the right to cancel for any reason without penalty.

Once you have cancelled the contract, you have a legal duty to take good care of the goods. You must return the goods to us at your expense. We will refund you the full amount paid for the goods within 14 days of receipt of the notice of cancellation. We reserve the right to reduce the refund to reflect any loss in value where the goods have been misused or mishandled.
Liability
All of our products are for use in prototyping and development only, and are not to be used in final consumer products. We cannot be held liable for any product that is abused or misused by the customer.

This website, along with the majority of websites on the internet, uses cookies. A cookie is a small file saved by your internet browser that enables our website to provide on-line shopping functions, like remembering the contents of your shopping basket. Our cookies are not used to identify you, and you can remove all cookies using your internet browser at any time.

We are committed to safeguarding the privacy of our customers – we will only use information that we have collected about you lawfully in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulations 2018.
The information that we hold is only necessary for order processing and after-sales service – this information includes name, address, phone number and e-mail address. No sensitive personal data will be retained by us. Credit card details are not stored on our system, but may be retained by our bank for future refunds.
