Double Row Female Header Connectors – These 40pin double row female header strips with 0.1″ pitch are commonly used on prototype PCBs and various micro controller modules. They are useful for allowing boards with multiple connections to mate together.

Unlike the male headers, female headers cannot be easily snapped apart into smaller strips, they can however be cut with a sharp knife.
